Bag Pump

A bag pump is a type of bellows pump where the typical bucket or piston is replaced by a valved disk connected to the base of the barrel via an elastic bag. The elastic bag is distended at intervals by rings or other mechanisms, creating a pumping action. This design allows for the compression and expulsion of air or fluid when the bag is squeezed and released, functioning similarly to traditional bellows but using an elastic bag instead of a rigid piston or bucket.

Functionality:

• Valved Disk: Acts as a valve to control the flow of air or fluid.
• Elastic Bag: Provides the pumping action by expanding and contracting when manipulated.
• Rings: Used to help distend the bag at intervals to maintain the pumping cycle.
