Safe Stop Wheel
A type of tire designed for vehicles to maintain control and safely bring the vehicle to a stop in the event of a blowout or loss of air pressure. Often referred to as a “run-flat tire,” a safe stop wheel allows the vehicle to continue operating for a limited distance at a reduced speed even after a puncture, providing the driver with the ability to safely reach a repair facility without immediate loss of control.
