TL

In transportation and logistics, “TL” stands for “Truckload.” It refers to the quantity of freight needed to completely fill a truck trailer. Typically, this involves shipments that weigh more than 10,000 pounds or require the entire capacity of a trailer. TL shipments are distinct from LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipments, which are smaller loads that don’t require a full trailer and are often combined with other shipments to optimize space and cost efficiency.
