The Yudo Auto Yuntu is a small electric SUV produced by Yudo Auto, a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer established in December 2015. The Yuntu was officially launched in early 2023 with a pre-sale price range of approximately $13,400 to $14,900. The vehicle’s design is inspired by the rabbit in the Chinese zodiac, reflecting a thematic tribute to the Chinese Year of the Rabbit.

Key features of the Yuntu include:

• Dimensions: 4035 mm in length, 1736 mm in width, and 1625 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2480 mm.
• Storage: Trunk volume of 310 liters.
• Design: The front features a closed grille and LED headlights inspired by rabbit eyes. It has 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels, “C” shaped taillights, and black decorative elements.
• Powertrain: Equipped with a 70 kW permanent magnet synchronous drive motor and lithium iron phosphate batteries. It offers a driving range of either 320 km or 415 km, depending on the specific model’s battery configuration.

Yudo Auto faced financial difficulties during the pandemic but resumed production in mid-2022 after securing new funding. The Yuntu represents the company’s effort to reinvigorate its product line and market presence.
