🚗 Saturn S-Series (1991–2002)
Overview: Saturn’s inaugural model line, the S-Series, encompassed sedans (SL), coupes (SC), and wagons (SW). Known for their plastic body panels and fuel efficiency, these vehicles established Saturn’s reputation for innovation and customer satisfaction.
Key Models:
- SL / SL1 / SL2 (Sedans): Introduced in 1991, these four-door sedans offered varying levels of equipment and performance. The SL was the base model, SL1 added features like power steering, and SL2 included a more powerful DOHC engine.
- SC / SC1 / SC2 (Coupes): The SC debuted in 1991 as a sporty two-door coupe. In 1993, the SC1 and SC2 trims were introduced, with the SC2 featuring a DOHC engine and additional amenities.
- SW1 / SW2 (Wagons): Launched in 1993, these station wagons provided increased cargo space. The SW2 offered upgraded features and the more powerful DOHC engine.
