Toeboard

A toeboard is the front vertical panel in a vehicle’s interior that provides support for the pedals and for the front passenger’s feet. It is typically inclined towards the front and is welded to the floorboard at its bottom end and to the bulkhead at its upper end. This panel ensures structural integrity and safety by preventing the passenger’s feet from slipping under the dashboard in the event of a collision.
